The University of Wollongong research team for the Dementia Friendly Kiama Project received the Vice Chancellor’s Award for Interdisciplinary Research Excellence at an awards function on 13 August at the University Hall.
As well as positive collaborations across faculties and disciplines within the University, the project has benefited greatly from support of external research partners including Alzheimer’s Australia, Kiama Municipal Council, the Dementia Alliance and Dementia Advisory Group.
