Project Dare Exhibition at UOW

Project DARE’s latest art exhibition at The Early Start Exhibition Space, room 104 on level 1B of the Early Start Facility – (above Espresso Warriors).

The exhibition uses artwork produced by Stage 2 children at Thirroul Public School (ages 8-10 years) to showcase their understanding of dementia before and after an educational intervention about dementia (http://globalchallenges.uow.edu.au/living/UOW221057.html ). The exhibition runs until December 10, is free to attend and everyone is welcome!

Project DARE is a pioneering new project that uses art as a way for children to express their knowledge and awareness about dementia (https://globalchallenges.uow.edu.au/living/UOW221057.html).

Project DARE was developed by Thirroul Public School in partnership with the University of Wollongong and Big Fat Smile.

This project was funded by the University of Wollongong’s Global Challenges program.
