The Australian Government’s new Aged Care Quality Standards come into effect on 1 July 2019. Dementia Australia want to make sure that the best possible care standards for people living with dementia are included. So here’s your chance to tell them about your experiences with aged care.
Dementia Australia are holding confidential focus groups in March and early April for people living with dementia and people caring for someone with dementia. They’d like to hear what you think is the best possible care for people living with dementia. This includes home care, short-term help and care in aged care homes. They want to talk with people from a range of locations, ages, backgrounds, genders, education levels, and types and stages of dementia.
