Dementia Training Australia offers education, assessment and advice for managers and architects who are in the process of planning new, or refurbished, facilities for people with dementia. This project has the goal of improving the lives of people with dementia and their carers by providing residential and healthcare managers, planners, architects and designers with the skills and awareness necessary to create dementia-friendly environments that maximise independence and reduce anxiety in people with dementia while assisting carers to perform their role.
